Theme # 51 - Sport
...The game is going splendidly. It's a good man's sort of sport, not unlike our American football: a perfect mix of strategy, running, and brutish physical contact. Ravi had the ball and was on a home-free stretch for the goal. Wouldn't you know it, the largest man on the opposing team (and easily on the whole field) was waiting for him. Instead of bodily leveling Ravi, however, he hoists him over his shoulder and proceeds to run towards the opposite goal. Let's not forget that he's still carrying Ravi, and Ravi is still carrying the ball (I know you can't see the ball in the drawing, but let's all use our imaginations here, shall we?). ...Ravi drops the ball soon enough, but not before he loses a few kilograms of dignity. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
